Google has made many efforts through the years at producing video calling programs. Ironically that has generated something of a perplexing scenario since users probably don’t know that to use. At this time, Google has Duo and Meet, therefore like we mentioned, there’s the question of which program should users use?
Based on 9to5Google, it appears that Google will make that decision easier as they’ve discovered that seemingly, Google intends to eventually replace Duo with Meet. After this occurs, Duo is going to soon be gone and Google will probably have just one video calling stage, which will be Meet, but we are not positive whether this is rebranded since the book claims that , the mixing of the two services has been known as Duet (Duo + Meet).
For all those unfamiliar, Duo and Satisfy both serve two distinct kinds of users, using Duo more concentrated on routine consumers, while Meet is aimed towards users. But, Google is reportedly looking to make a unified platform which may be used for both regular and enterprise users, sort of like Zoom can be utilized for pleasure whilst additionally employed for companies and by specialists.
It’s unclear when this will occur, but it appears there were already indications that this was in the works. Lately, Google incorporated Meet with Gmail, giving the stage more visibility, so we’ll just have to wait and watch.
