Raiders QB Derek Carr pokes fun at potential Redskins name change


Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr made a joke on Twitter about a possible name change for the Washington Redskins.

For years, many sports clubs also have come under fire due to their group names. Among the groups in question was the NFL’s Washington Redskins. They’ve been under pressure from everybody from Native American groups into enormous powerful sponsors like FedEx and Nike at the previous week, to eventually change their title.

Some comical ideas came to light in regards to choosing a new name for your franchise, however, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has an notion of their own.

In all seriousness, there’s a legitimate possibility that Washington may eventually change its name. A variety of media outlets have reported since many powerful groups and businesses, team owner Dan Snyder has agreed to explore changing the name. Snyder hasn’t felt the sort of pressure he’s felt lately regarding the shift.
