SEC football power rankings: Who’s the greatest threat to Alabama?
CeeDee Lamb seems excellent in No. 88, can he live up to the hype?
The amount 88 takes a whole lot of weight to your Dallas Cowboys. Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, Dez Bryant and CeeDee Lamb has formally put the 88 on his back to the first time. The wide receiver submitted an epic first-look together with his arms open wide on Instagram on Friday.
“You ready?” It is captioned. Straightforward and to the point.
And the answer is… hell yeah we’re.
CeeDee Lamb was another amount, besides 88
Lamb, that had been chosen 17th overall by Dallas, nearly did not even wind up with that particular number.
“I had the choice of choosing 10 or 88, and that I chose 10,” Lamb said through a meeting with GBag Country on 105.3 The Enthusiast (h/t DallasNews.com). “And then, sort of moving more detailed with the circumstance, just type of understanding the heritage and just how much that amount means to this business, then how much of a base that amount holds itself — the fantastic legends before me personally and what they have done with this amount. It is sort of like, why don’t you keep the tradition going, you understand? Evidently, they did not retire the amount for a motive. Thus, just trying to maintain the heritage of 88 moving in Dallas.”
Lamb is going to have the opportunity to wear it to the lovers (watching on TV of course) if Dallas has it is initial pre-season game when they take on the Chargers on Aug. 18, 2020.
