Pakistan Hockey federation releases pandemic allowance

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has published Rs30,000 per cent into the 30 players that have been part of their training camp of their senior group, and are currently following the training programme in their houses.

The 30 players incorporate some junior players too.

PHF obtained Rs1.5 million in the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) that a couple of days back, the very first in 3 decades.

A total of Rs. 25 million to give grants-in-aid into the associated National Sports Federations (NSFs) through the present financial year.

The initiative to offer grant into the national federations was accepted by Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) and also President PSB Dr Fehmida Mirza to mitigate the sufferings of sportspersons.

The PSB has proposed that the NSFs to devote this sum on the instruction and training of sportspersons and extend from paying the sum on the administrative issues like office expenditures and payment of wages.

The launch of this cash to the players is targeted at keeping them PHF sources stated.

The authorities last week released capital to 16 sports federations, such as PHF.
