Hockey Foundation comes out to supports grassroot hockey at Covid Occasions


The Hockey Foundation was active over the last couple of months since it has been providing aid to many doctors around New Zealand to assist them in the grassroots level and find the 2020 hockey year underway.

The Hockey Foundation was encouraging some fantastic projects and programmes post-COVID — 19 together with the baseball seasons becoming underway across the nation.

The following is a picture of what the Hockey Foundations has supported to date with more to come:

Auckland Hockey: Lead trainer initiative allowing school and club coaches to get greater connectivity with other trainers around the area.

Taranaki Hockey: Helping encourage a vacation programme to get children back into baseball and eager for the rest of the baseball season.

Central Otago Hockey: Supporting a wonderful vacation programme offered to all degrees of children in the region.

Marlborough Hockey: Training practices which benefit both trainer development as well as the players at the Region together with the experience of highly recognized HNZ trainer Chris Leslie

Northland Hockey: Letting a vacation camp to acquire excited children on the turf within the vacations with drawcard — Dark Stick Ella Gunson.

Bay Of Plenty Hockey: Helping encourage an umpire development function who appears after all of the young up and coming umpires in the Junior and Secondary level from the Bay Of Plenty area.

North Harbour Hockey: helps encourage the coaches at the Cubs and Hawklet U13 and U16 development programme that’s conducting weekly periods to your own 2020 season ending using a fantastic little festival.

Otago Hockey — The Foundation encouraged them earlier in the year with a women activation day where baseball awakened with different sports in the area. They also affirmed a training development programme that needed a coach development attention.

Alan Lints Senior Scholarship:

Ben Algie is your first receiver of the Alan Lints Senior scholarship. Ben is in the Manawatu and is a youthful passionate umpire prepared to learn and expand his umpiring skills.
