The Austrian Grand Prix stewards have resisted Red Bull’s protest against Mercedes’ dual-axis steering (DAS) system before the weekend’s Formula 1 season opener, calling it”not based”.
Mercedes debuted the advanced steering system solution, which enables motorists Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas to correct the toe angle in the front wheel from inside the cockpit with their steering wheelduring 2020 pre-season testing.

“Therefore, it gains of those implicit exceptions to specific suspension regulations related to steering”
The conclusions means that Mercedes is going to be permitted to continue to work with DAS on its own automobiles through closing qualifying and practice in Austria on Saturday.
