Qazi Onik prohibited for two years for failing dope test


Bangladeshi left-arm quick bowler Qazi Onik was banned for two years for failing a dope test during the National Cricket League at November 2018. After failing the test, he had been eliminated from each BCB programme he was a part of.

Based on some BCB media launch, Onik tested positive for Methamphetamine through an NCL game in Cox’s Bazar. He confessed to this offence and approved that a two-wheeled suspension for the anti-doping rule violation involving his use of a banned substance.
