Following a disappointing 2019-20 campaign together with the Brooklyn Nets, Wilson Chandler is expected to sign a deal from the British Association. Sportando’s Emilano Carchia reports that the 33-year old veteran has not officially inked a deal but it will occur eventually.
Chandler remains under contract with the Nets through the conclusion of this 2019-20 year even though he picked out of participating in the league restart in July.
Chandler has bounced around the NBA that the last two seasons, dividing time with the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers along with Brooklyn. He averaged 10.0 points each game with the Denver Nuggets at 2017-18.
Still only 33 years old, the 13-year veteran might be an impact player in China. It would not be his first time playing overseas, as Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors points out that he composed in China through the 2011 NBA lockout.
Chandler missed the initial 25 matches of this 2019-20 NBA season using a suspension for violating the league’s anti-doping policy.
