The College Park Skyhawks have encouraged assistant general director Tori Miller into the team’s best place, Sarah K. Spencer of their Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Miller becomes the first female general manager in G League history.
Miller will assume that the main gig at the team’s front office after she was hired as assistant general director . Prior to this she had been a director of basketball operations using the franchise, dating back into the business’s period in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Miller’s Skyhawks went 20-23 prior to the G League was cancelled as a result of coronavirus. The roster featured several NBA abilities, including the group’s two-way players Brandon Goodwin and Charlie Brown Jr., in addition to veterans such as R.J. Hunter and Tyrone Wallace.
Outgoing overall supervisor, Derek Pierce, will stay with the organization at a scouting capacity.
