Denver authorities have declared a cash reward because they explore an arson fire early Wednesday that killed five members of a household — including 2 young kids — with ties to this West African nation of Senegal.
The 14,000 reward for information resulting in an arrest had been announced Friday in a press conference that included Senegal’s representative to the United Nations, based on reports.
“Past the cash, what I am asking for is a heartfelt plea,” Division Police Chief Joe Montoya stated. “I need people to research their hearts… and comprehend this was a household that has been flourishing. They had been going the ideal direction.”
Killed at the flame have been Djibril and Adja Diol, along with their 3-year-old daughter Kadidia, and Hassan Diol along with her baby daughter, Hawa Beye. Hassan Diol and Djibril Diol were siblings.
