ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan paid tribute to the Kashmiris on Monday for laying down their lives for liberty as they”continue to struggle and withstand a Hindutva supremacist regime” that is centered on wiping out the Kashmiri men and women.
The prime minister in his speech on Kashmir Martyrs’ Day, while saluting the Kashmiris to their continuing battle against the illegal and barbaric Indian occupation of the occupied territory said,”The shuhada of 13 July 1931 were the forefathers of the Kashmiri immunity,” PM Imran tweeted.
“Their descendants have, generation after generation, laid down their own lives for liberty and now they continue to valiantly fight and withstand a Hindutva Supremacist regime bent demographic technology to wipe out the Kashmiri people and their individuality,” he added.
The prime minister added that Pakistan will continue to encourage the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination until it’s liberated.
“Pakistan has ever stood loyal for the Kashmiri directly to self-determination and will continue to encourage this only battle till IOJK is free from the clutches of Indian illegal occupation. That day isn’t far,” the premier added.
The Kashmir Martyrs’ Day has been observed throughout the nation including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) now to pay homage to 22 Kashmiris martyred by the soldiers of Dogra Maharaja on July 13, 1931, for emerging away from the Central Jail at Srinagar in service of Abdul Qadeer who had been billed for propelling people to withstand the Dogra Rule.

PML-N president at his message on Kashmir Martyrs’ Day stated that the people of the inhabited valley were questioning the global community, United Nation and its Security Council when could they get justice.
Shehbaz explained the names of individuals who sacrificed their lives fighting for liberty by the Dogra Regime under the British Rule, could be written in golden letters in the background.
“This resilience by 22 Muslims, that embraced martyrdom to fill out the call for Truth, the Azaan, reveals that Muslims can’t be conquered or subjugated.
“The roar of independence struggle of those of Indian occupied Kashmir still echoes through the inhabited valley with complete force,” he explained.
Shehbaz stated the suppression by India had worsened from the occupied Kashmir following New Delhi’s illegal annexation and the imposition of a curfew and a complete communications blackout since August 5, 2019.
“The people of occupied Kashmir deserve accolades and tribute of the maximum sequence for they braved the brutality and battle each cruelty, tyranny of India having an iron will,” that the PML-N leader stated, including these sacrifices from the people of occupied Kashmir would be the cornerstone of liberty and can not be forgotten.
