Farmer thanks CM Yogi for child heart operation finance | Varanasi News

Gorakhpur: A day after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sanctioned Rs 9.9 lakh from his discretionary fund to the center valve replacement operation of a woman from Campierganj region in Gorakhpur, her dad, a farmer, profusely thanked Yogi and telephoned him a messiah of the poor.
23-year old Madhulika Mishra, a resident of Machhli village at Campierganj region and BEd pupil, was feeling breathlessness because two months and physicians stated both valves of her center had been damaged and required replacement. The physicians gave a quote of Rs 9.9 lakh for the operation.
The household couldn’t afford the operation but Madhulika did not eliminate hope and composed a letter to CM Yogi about August 9 looking for assistance and sought aid on Twitter.
Madhulika’s dad, Rakesh Chandra Mishra explained,”Few days before, she felt an issue in breathing so we took her into a private hospital in Gorakhpur where the physician said there was an issue inside her heart valves. We chose her to SGPGI and KGMU however they refused to accept her because of the corona catastrophe. Somehow, took her to Medanta where physicians said her valves have to be replaced along with the operation will cost approximately Rs 10 lakh.”
“I’m poor and do not have much cash. My daughter wrote a letter to the ministry and posted tweets looking for aid. I received a letter from CM Yogi on Wednesday evening telling he has sanctioned the obligatory Rs 9. 90 lakh for her operation,” he added.
“I’m really grateful to the ministry and my kid will undergo operation at Medanta hospital at Lucknow on August 24,” he explained.
“I will state CM Yogi is a true messiah of the poor,” he added.
