VADODARA: Panchmahal police reserved 21 individuals on Sunday night for collecting Godhra city to welcome someone who’d returned home after recovering from Covid-19.
Authorities stated that an individual identified as Fenil Shah had returned to his house in Shethwada neighborhood in Godhra city on Saturday night. More than two dozen people gathered at the area to welcome Shah with garlands and showering flowers . According to authorities, those who had accumulated had worn masks, however all of them assembled without keeping social distancing and despite ban on gathering.
“We’ve identified 21 individuals and there have been 10 or even more individuals who were there but have never been recognized yet,” said a police officer. All accused have been booked for committing stern and cancerous act that’s very likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life, beneath Epidemic Disease Act and Disaster Management Act.
In May also, 11 individuals were reserved for collecting in Voharvad region to celebrate retrieval of a patient who’d returned in GMERS Medical College and Hospital at Vadodara.
