Woman who attempted to commit suicide dies in road accident in Kerala’s Alappuzha | Thiruvananthapuram News

ALAPPUZHA: A 32-year-old-woman, who attempted to commit suicide, expired following the evacuation that was taking her rammed a truck NH-66 in Aroor police station limits. Her dad and uncle suffered injuries from the crash.
“Rakhi, mom of a five-year-old kid, attempted to commit suicide by pouring kerosene oil and put her self on fire in her uncle’s home in Thanneermukkom on Tuesday late night. Though, she had been shot to private hospitals at Kochi and Cherthala, the hospital authorities refused to acknowledge her. She was being accepted to Government Medical College Hospital at Alappuzha in an ambulance. Subsequently the ambulance rammed a truck which was carrying sand on Tuesday about 11. 30pm. Her body was changed to Thuravoor Taluk Hospital along with also her uncle, and her father, who suffered injuries were admitted to a hospital,” the police said.
