THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala on Tuesday reported 720 new instances of Covid-19, carrying the amount of infected individuals within the country to 13,994, whereas 1,62,444 individuals are under observation from the state.
Of the new cases, 528 were infected by their connections, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan told the press following the daily Covid-19 test match.
“Resources of 34 instances are yet to be identified…82 originated from overseas, 54 came from different nations…17 health employees,29 defence protection corps employees, four ITBP employees and five employees belonging to additional paramilitary forces were affected.
The nation reported one death now,” he explained.
The chief minister condoled the passing of this 72- year old girl, Victoria, a native of Pulluvila at the district, that reacted to coronavirus.
“She was suffering from other age associated disorders,” Vijayan said.
He said 274 individuals were treated on Tuesday.
Supplying the district-wise break-up from the Covid-19 instances, Vijayan said Thiruvananthapuram reported 151 instances, whilst Kollam 85.
Ernakulam reported 80 instances, Malappuram 61, Kannur 57, Palakkad 46, Alappuzha 46, Kasaragod 40, Pathanamthitta 40, Kozhikode 39, Kottayam 39, Thrissur 19 andWayand 17.
The chief minister said at 19,524 samples were analyzed over the past 24 hours.
“At least eight,277 men are in isolation wards at a variety of hospitals throughout the nation along with a total of 8,056 are under therapy,” Vijayan said.
The state authorities stated 353 areas are categorised as hot areas as of today.
Thiruvananthapuram, the capital district, includes two,201 favorable circumstance, the maximum in the nation, followed by Ernakulam with 909.
Alappuzha district has 617 instances, whilst Malappuram and Kollam 599 and 555 cases respectively.
