Portion of dilapidated building collapses in Mumbai’s Dongri region | Thane News


MUMBAI: A woman sustained significant injuries while others were spared after part of a building collapsed in Mumbai’s Dongri place on Wednesday morning at approximately seven. 30am. The girl, retired school teacher, was trapped beneath the debris.
The Razak Chamber construction, older dilapidated cessed structure located off SVB street, had grown a significant crack on Tuesday and most of its occupants vacated the premises on precisely the exact same night. “The construction has two wings with different entrances. The stairs part of a single wing fell along with a girl remaining in the construction got trapped indoors,” said Javed Juneza, local corporator.
