The under-construction Patripul bridge at Kalyan
KALYAN: The traffic authorities have limited entry of vehicles old Patripul bridge at Kalyan in Wednesday night until August 24 from 10pm to 5am.
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), that will be building the new Patripul bridge in Wednesday, will begin laying girders. The MSRDC have opted to finish bridge function by next month to get public usage.
Traffic authorities said the girders might need to be raised by putting a major crane on the bridge and those girders will be placed during nighttime time when traffic will be redirected.
DCP (Traffic) Amit Kale while issuing the purchase, stated quite heavy vehicles passing through Kalyan- Shil Road have been barred from entering Ranjanoli Naka on Mumbai-Nashik street towards Kalyan side and Shil street towards Kalyan side.
These vehicles will pass via Kalwa-Mumbra route. The lighting vehicles on the road will be permitted via Valdhuni bridge.
