Maharashtra: Shops on each side of street in Ulhasnagar permitted to start from August 18 | Thane News


ULHASNAGAR: Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) on Monday decided to scrap the”odd-even (P1 and P2) formulation” employed for store owners in town as part of their lockdown limitation except hotspot zones.
The transfer came following Covid-19 instances have came into restrain in town and also considering increasing demands of dealers.
The dealers welcomed the move stating that company will return to normal from Tuesday later UMC battled p1 and p2 formula. In his arrangement, UMC Commissioner Dr Raja Dayanidhi stated,”The regulation of p1 and p2 would be cancelled and today from Tuesday (18 August) all stores can be opened either side between 9am and 7pm”.
The Ulhasnagar Trade Association and a lot of other traders institutions in town are demanding for resale of the P1 and P2 formula.
Rajesh Vadhrya, standing committee chairman of Ulhasnagar Municipal business stated,”The transfer will help traders return to their regular life but while staying shops open should follow social distancing criteria to prevent additional spread of Covid instances”.
The Covid instances in town are currently under control and recovery rate can be over 93% until Monday. About Monday city reported 38 new Covid-19 instances carrying full numbers of patients ,409 from that so much 6,921 patients have healed while just 303 active patients are taking treatment.
