Maharashtra covid-19: Maharashtra: 86 structure labourers test positive in Thane | Thane News

THANE: As many as 86 structure labourers, used at a notable builder’s website in Manpada-Majiwada ward in Thane district of Maharashtra, have tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday.
The data was shared with Sandeep Malvi, deputy municipal commissioner that stated that a complete 536 labourers working in the place were analyzed for possible disease of that 86 tested positive.
Municipal commissioner Dr Vipin Sharma had, this week, falsified all programmers in town with employees staying on site to run RTPCR Covid evaluations in their work imagining many to have already been infected and that might spread illness if unnoticed.
Meanwhile, the builder fraternity has blamed the practice to be fiscally straining and seeks aid in the government.
“We’re already taking sufficient precautions and running PCR tests on our team that will further impact us financially since there are almost 200 employees at many websites. The government should work out a strategy to decrease the strain on people, or run antigen tests,” stated a programmer requesting anonymity.
