Maharashtra: Cop infected with Covid-19 expires hours before plasma treatment | Thane News


KALYAN: A-56-year old assistant sub inspector Siddharth Gaikwad posted with specific division of Thane authorities expired because of Covid-19 on Monday through treatment in private hospital at Kalyan.
Gaikwad who had been famous for his great detection in police department was awarded with Director General of Police’s insignia for differentiate services.
Regrettably Gaikwad’s condition worsened abruptly on Sunday and his coworkers altered him to Aayur hospital at Kalyan (East) and ordered three policemen for contributions of plasma but prior to the physicians could employ plasma treatment he died through treatment on Monday late afternoon.
Gaikwad is lived along with his wife and three daughters from which two are wed while a person is unmarried.
Varsha Chavan, authorities sub-inspector of S office of Kalyan Division, in which Gaikwad was submitted, stated,”Lately Gaikwad fell ill and he obtained tested himself September 11 and arrived Covid-19 favorable”.
Chavan farther said,”Originally he had been admitted to Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation conduct Patidar Hall established Covid hospital along with his health was nicely until Sunday morning. But following his condition suddenly begun to worsen we got him changed into Kalyan established Aayur hospital. On doctors’ ideas we ordered three policemen for plasma treatment along with their blood test was done but before physicians may conduct plasma therapy that he expired”.
