Maharashtra: 9 train passengers test positive for Covid-19 at Thane | Thane News


THANE: As many as nine outstation train passengers were tested positive for Covid-19 in a testing center in Thane railway station on Thursday.
Municipal officials stated 846 passengers were screened Thursday of that nine tested positive who’ve been recommended further therapy.
It could be mentioned that the Thane municipal company began screening of outstation passengers arriving in town in the railroad station to discover potential defendant Covid patients a week after it obtained wary of increasing instances in town.
“There is a chance of these passengers carrying the virus together at town and become the reason behind concern, even if not found in time. Accordingly, we’re just taking an excess measure of precaution and getting them tested before they go into town. Those found positive will probably be advised therapy,” stated a senior civil officer.
