KDMC launches particular disinfection push to combat Covid-19 and monsoon related ailments | Thane News


KALYAN: The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) in its own special efforts to rid the double town of coronavirus and other monsoon related ailments on Sunday deployed over 100 members of health and sanitation division with Fire Brigade group and found a special drive to spray sodium hypochlorite using fogging machines to purify the whole city.
The KDMC placed into usage 31 city shield jet machines, 4 jeep mounted fogging machine, 5 handheld machines and 35 hand fogging machines for disinfecting purposes. Maximum regions of Kalyan-Dombivli were coated on Sunday, while staying regions will likely be disinfected next Sunday, the civic body said.
Meanwhile, the double town on Sunday reported new 330 new Covid-19 instances and nine passing, taking the overall numbers of patients to 18,495, such as 307 deaths up to now.
The afternoon saw 216 patients getting treated, taking the amount of patients discharged into 12,365, whereas staying 5,823 busy patients are undergoing therapy at various Covid-19 care centers and hospitals.
