SURAT: Four unidentified persons were booked by the police on Monday for allegedly looting money and valuables worth Rs 28,600 in a health spa and massage parlour at Vesu. The thieves harassed the girl sitting at the front desk of the parlour and looted gold jewelry out of her. The loot was completed at knifepoint and also the robbers had sprayed their face with masks.
Police reserved the four guys from Limbayat place on Tuesday over suspicion of the participation in the alleged looting in the Roongta Shopping Centre. The whole incident was captured on CCTV installed in the spa.
It’s observed from the movie a group of guys going into the parlour on Monday and among them shutting the door.
“It looks like the robbers targetted the massage parlour because there wasn’t any public motion on Monday afternoon. They need to have kept an eye on the parlour for a little while before entering,” said a police officer.
