Footage shows acccused carrying the 150 mop
Surat: This one missing soda will sweep clean all other crime tales. Fora criticism was lodged at the theft of a Rs150 mop in the store in Yogi Chowk in town. Sarthana police also did not sweep the issue under the rug’as insignificant’ and reserved unidentified persons under department 379 (Punishment for theft) of Indian Penal Code and found a stunt!
Janak Bhalala, 29, a resident of Saurashtra Palace at Utran at Surat city, lodged the complaint of this mop missing out of his store, Sahjanand Business Hub.
According to the FIR, on September 4, while heading from the office for a while, Bhalala’s brother-in-law Keval Kyada place the mop beyond the workplace. But upon return, he could not find it. Distressed, he predicted his brother-in-law to notify about the mysterious disappearance.
The following day, Bhalala together with Kyada went about asking one of the acquaintances and watchmen if anyone spotted the lost’objet utilitaire inestimable’. However, in vain.
Crestfallen, Bhalala, a diamond dealer and indigenous of Umej village in Una taluka of Gir-Somnath district attained the police station. “I’d bought the mop for Rs 150 from Happy House Sophisticated. But, I didn’t take a bill whilst buying it but its price has to be approximately Rs 150,” Bhalala stated in his criticism.
Cops lost time and assessed CCTV camera footage to get the actual culprits. Along with the cameras talked: It revealed Bharat Kanani, a property agent, Kalpesh Tejani, an embroidery unit operator, also Vignesh Mangukia, a diamond dealer in town carting the merchandise!
While sources stated that the three accused had a quarrel and needing a stick to address the impasse, employed the mop ‘justice’. But, they certainly forgot to restore it to its rightful place.
Authorities were too. They detained the 3 men on Friday, thus breaking up case of the missing mop.
