DALTONGANJ: The bodies of three migrants from Palamu — that have been discovered dead to a railroad track nearby Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) campus in Kanjikode at Kerala on Monday night — are expected to be passed over to Jharkhand authorities in a few times, state police officers said Wednesday.
The trio, elderly between 20 and 30, were allegedly run over by a train in a place involving Kanjikode and Palakkad channels.
On Wednesday, IG (Ranchi zone) Navin Kumar Singh said the cops at Palakkad district have ensured Palamu SP of sending bodies when their autopsies and other formalities are finished. Resources stated that Palakkad police could release the bodies late on Wednesday night or about Thursday morning.
Singh further explained,”We’ve asked the Palakkad authorities for a comprehensive and honest investigation into the death of their three migrants. I’ve led SP Palamu Ajay Linda to shoot normal updates from them”
The trio hailed from Palamu’s Pandu police station region, SDPO Bishrampur Surjit Kumar stated. They’ve been recognized as Kanhai Vishwakarma, Arvind Ram and Hari Om.
Surjit stated,”I talked to one of those labourers in Kerala, Mukh Lal Paswan, who’s also a resident of Pandu. Paswan explained that the trio were below institutional quarantine for yesteryear 10 days. On Mondaythey went out for a walk in the day but a bit afterwards, their bodies have been discovered on a railroad track near IIT, Kanjikode.”
