RANCHI: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on Sunday mourned the passing of former Union minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, stating he had been a”simple-hearted pioneer” and his departure remains an”irreparable loss” to the country.
The CM prayed for the departed soul and offered condolences for his loved ones.
“Raghuvansh ji was a simple-hearted leader. His death is an irreparable loss… May God give peace to the departed soul and power to the family to bear this loss,” he explained.
The former union minister for rural development, frequently known as the architect of MGNREGA scheme, breathed his last Sunday morning at AIIMS, Delhi.
