Trio vandalizes temple, also detained | Rajkot News


Rajkot: Three individuals allegedly vandalized a temple and put empty liquor bottles within a failed bid to defame the secretary of their spiritual premises situated in Ambedkarnagar on 150 feet Ring Road.

But, all three were captured as their offense was captured from the CCTV situated nearby. The accused identified as Sanket Rathod (24), Kamlesh Muchhadia (30) and Ajay Rathod (28) desired to eliminate the incumbent trustee Nitin Sorathiya to ensure somebody in their’own Ambedkarnagar field’ could assume the administration.

Sorathiya resides in Mavdi village, which is presently part of Rajkot town, and the temple is situated on a prime site.

“They desired to defame Sorathiya since they believed he planned to usurp the temple property. The trio also stated that the temple hope didn’t exist of newspaper. Following vandalizing, they put empty liquor bottles in the place to demonstrate that Sorathiya had arranged a booze party in the assumptions,” said K N Bhukan, inspector with Malaviyanagar police channel.

The accused were also reserved for hurting the religious sentiments of a neighborhood, since a portion of them had urinated at the temple premises.
