Coronavirus in Maharashtra: Maharashtra adds 6,875 instances; 219 expire, 4,067 discharged | Mumbai News


MUMBAI: Maharashtra’s Covid-19 tally climbed to two,30,599 on Thursday with the inclusion of 6,875 fresh instances, while 219 deaths – 68 of these in Mumbai – obtained the toll to 9, respectively 667, the state health department said.
A health division statement here said ,067 patients were also discharged in hospitals, requiring the overall recoveries into 1,27,259 at the country.

As many 219 more patients succumbed to the disease, pushing the toll up on 9,667, the health department said.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), which comprises Mumbai town and its adjacent regions, accounted for the greatest instances at 4, respectively 084, taking the total to 1,59,662, although the fatality count climbed to 6, respectively 918 later 159 patients died, the announcement said.
