PATNA: Bihar main ministry Nitish Kumar on Tuesday inaugurated administrative and a lot of other new buildings of that the Bihar Agriculture University (BAU) situated at Sabour at Bhagalpur district, through videoconferencing in the Nek Samvad hall in the CM dwelling here.
These buildings are made in the price of Rs 268 crore.
Addressing the role, CM stated an agriculture school at Sabour was created way back in 1908. It had been among those initial five gaming schools in the nation. Afterwards, the Sabour agriculture school was updated into a full-scale agriculture college on August 5, 2010. It had been called because the BAU.
“Following updating the Sabour agriculture school to a full-scale university, the state authorities also chose to start five new agriculture schools under the new university. These five schools are Horticulture faculty at Noorsarai at Nalanda district, Mandan Bharti agriculture school, Saharsa, Veer Kuer Singh Agriculture College, Dumraon, the Bhola Paswan Shashtri Agriculture College, Purnia and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Agriculture College in Kishanganj,” the CM said.
The CM also advised the Kishanganj-based APJ Abdul Kalam faculty has got the largest campus one of the agriculture schools throughout the nation.
He said the state government also launched a different Bihar Animal Sciences University at Patna at 2016. “We established a private forestry faculty at Munger to encourage forestry in the country,” Nitish explained.
The CM farther said that the BAU, Sabour, has completed several notable works in the sphere of research and education. The college has secured 18th position at the national position.
“The college is presently generating seeds of different kinds on a big scale. Throughout the Kharif period of present calendar year, the university spread over 10,000 quintals of seeds one of the inheritance,” CM stated while highlighting the functions being done from the BAU.
Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, agriculture ministry Prem Kumar, constructing construction ministry Ashok Choudhary and also the secretary (agriculture) N Saravana Kumar also addressed the inaugural function via video conferencing.
