PATNA: A 21-year-old Covid-19 individual, Rohit Kumar on Friday jumped to death from the third floor of a bathroom window at AIIMS Patna where he had been admitted for treatment.
Rohit, a resident of Bihta, was the youngest of five sisters and a bachelors last year student. His dad Brajesh Kumar, a railroad employee said he’d telephonic talk with his son between 3pm to 4pm. “He explained that he had been feeling helpless and was afflicted by loose movement. I advised him he’ll recover shortly. However, I didn’t believe he’d take such a measure,” explained Brajesh.
AIIMS Patna Covid-19 nodal accountable for Dr Sanjeev Kumar stated Rohit jumped out of the bathroom window of a ward at the day. “He had been declared on July 20 along with his condition had been moderate. He had no clinical history,” explained Dr Sanjeev. But he stated he had no thought about his psychological illness.
This is the next suicide of a patient admitted with coronavirus in AIIMS Patna and next in Bihar. Previous month on June 22, a 32-year old resident of Khagaul had committed suicide by hanging himself in a vacant area. Although the guy was convinced for Covid-19, his next report that came after his suicide had been unfavorable.
Before , a 30-year old migrant worker who’d returned from Delhi had hanged himself at the quarantine center at Hajipur on May 20. Nevertheless, his report arrived following his suicide and was favorable for Covid-19. Civil surgeon had this time claimed that this 30-year old was in melancholy as he had been quarantined earlier too if in Delhi.
