PATNA: Bihar cupboard on Saturday took a significant decision in favor of the state government workers who’d perish on the obligation thanks to Covid-19.
According to a fund department’s proposal that was accepted by the cabinet, if the dependent of such worker is willing for work on the compassionate ground, he’d be offered with a job together with other benefits entitled under the present provisions.
If the dependent isn’t prepared to get work on the compassionate ground, then heor she would be offered with a whole payable salary of the worker until the date of his/her retirement beneath a particular family pension scheme. Following the date of retirement, the claimant would also have the advantage of the present retirement scheme.
The dependents of these workers that are insured under the new retirement scheme would also secure total payable salary until the date of retirement from the deceased worker.
“The supply of the particular pension scheme will be successful on the passing cases that would happen from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021,” the accepted proposal states.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by CM Nitish Kumar, also accepted a health division ‘s suggestion for dismissal of eight medical officers that had been absent from their place of submitting for at least 8 decades. A number of them were absent for over 18 years.
Additionally, it accepted a Panchayati Raj department’s proposal to authorise CM Nitish Kumar for the appointment of state election commissioner from the state election commission. )
The cupboard farther gave its nod to some registration department’s proposal for dismissal of the suspended sub-registrar of Hilsa (Nalanda) Ram Pravesh Chouhan from the ceremony.
