NOIDA: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-Rera) on Wednesday ordered a forensic analysis of Supertech‘s Supernova job in Sector 94 and threatened to revoke the registration of this builder in the event of its failure to renew within a month that the job map which lapsed previous year.
UP-Rera officials told TOI that the forensic audit was initiated as Supertech had neglected to react to the operator’s previous calls for job map renewal together with the Noida Authority. Supertech’s job map for Supernova was due for renewal last year .
UP-Rera member Balvinder Kumar stated,”We’d sent a note to the builder in February, requesting it to rekindle the job map. Over half a year on, there’s been no development on this front. Thus, we’ve arranged a forensic review of Supernova to inspect that the lapses within the builder”
Based on UP-Rera secretary Abrar Ahmed, the builder currently has 30 days to follow the Rera‘s February arrangement,”failing that its registration will be revoked under Section 7 of their UP-Rera Act, allowing the operator to take this measure”.
“The Authority includes a board of top audit companies, that will compile the forensic reports,” Ahmed explained.
But, Supertech chairman RK Arora refuted Rera’s claim, stating they hadn’t received any notice in February. “But the revalidation of this job map is under procedure. Because of lockdown, the renewal hasn’t yet been done. We’re optimistic the revalidated map will be obtained shortly and we’ll notify Rera so,” he explained.
Aside from Supertech, UP-Rera on Wednesday also issued a note to Ansal API to publish in 15 times a compliance report of an interim arrangement, dated July 9, 2019, over finance recreation allegations, also cautioned that registrations of half its jobs would be pulled in the event of collapse.
