NOIDA: A 20-year old BPO employee was fined Rs 1,000 and abused verbally with a police officer on Saturday to get”lockdown offenses” if he was coming from work, despite taking driving permit and related records . He’s enrolled a police complaint, asserting that this was the next time he had been fined”for no reason”.
The authorities haven’t disclosed the segments into the childhood and Rakesh Kumar Singh, SHO, Sector 20 police station told TOI that they might need to look at the terms under which he’s been fined. The transportation department site, also, does not mention the exact same.
Rohit Srivastava, that operates in Sector 6, stated he had been pulled apart from cops when he had been riding his motorcycle home.
“A sub-inspectors asked me why I had been drifting around. They began noting down my particulars and issued a challan. When I told him I was coming out of office and asked why I was being fined, ” he advised me never to argue and began hurling abuses at me,”” he told TOI. He declared that on May 26, he had an identical encounter.
Srivastava tweeted concerning the episode and after that, filed a complaint into the ACP-1.
Meanwhile, the authorities maintains that nobody besides the vital employees should venture out throughout the weekend lockdown.
Added DCP (Noida) Ranvijay Singh told TOI that when the BPO is working on weekend, then the workers should file a complaint from the business since nobody could be permitted to go outside during weekend lockdown.
