NOIDA: A 37-year-old guy has been arrested on Sunday for allegedly murdering his brother, whose body was discovered dumped in an isolated region a week ago, at Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida, authorities said.
The accused told the police he had been peeved by his brother’s alcoholism and misbehaviour with women members of the joint family, which directed him to the offense, according to officers.
The body of Bhisham Singh, a resident of Bisrakh village at Greater Noida, has been discovered close to bushes in a isolated region throughout a week ago. The body bore stab marks and an FIR was lodged in the Bisrakh police station and analysis carried up, a police spokesperson said.
“Throughout the probe, signs directed the authorities to the deceased’s brother Deepak and he had been contested. When quizzed, Deepak confessed to stabbing his brother to death. He told the authorities that Bhisham would often consume alcohol, make ruckus in the home and misbehave with girls family members due to which he chose to kill his brother,” the spokesperson said.
The accused was arrested and booked under IPC 302 (murder) and associated fees, the authorities said.
Additional proceedings were being completed in the instance, the police included.
