Noida/Ghaziabad: Uttar Pradesh government has accepted using Ivermectin as a new medicine for the prevention and treatment of Covid-19. The medication will replace hydroxychloroquine.
Health department officials involved in Covid-19 management stated that Ivermectin is currently being given to frontline health workers. The additional chief secretary of the health section on Thursday led all main medical officers to begin giving doses of this medication to people being treated for Covid-19, their major connections and to health employees deputed at Covid care centers.
