GREATER NOIDA: A 27-year old Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) pioneer by a Jewar village has been found dead with bullet wounds nearby Jewar-Bulandshahr street on Wednesday night.
Pradeep Atri was from Neemka village in which he worked together with all the local wing of BKU. He was able to remain with his parents, wife and two brothers. Local folks said he was working with local BJP employees and was intending to contest elections.
In accordance with the household’s complaint, Atri got a call . 30 pm Wednesday and he left the home then. Afterwards, some villagers told them that they heard gunshots close to the street. The family attempted to get Atri but discovered that his telephone had been switched off.
The household members began searching for him and discovered his body in a woods around 100m from the street. He had a bullet wound in the torso. “He had been seen in a restaurant with an individual named Lawrence along with a couple of others.
“The restaurant owner advised me he saw him moving into the woods with Lawrence and moments afterwards, he heard gunshots,” explained Rampal Singh, Atri’s daddy.
He added the several men were after Atri, as he’d assisted a family of a girl who was supposedly kidnapped by the guys a couple of weeks ago. “Lawrence’s brother Vipin had kidnapped the married girl and my son had aided the household rescue her. We guess that they murdered my son to carry to revenge,” Rampal stated, adding that the men are also accused of the murder of this woman’s spouse. He had been discovered dead in Vallabhgarh of Haryana.
Once Atri’s body has been discovered, an FIR was lodged under segments 147 (rioting), 148 (rioting with deadly weapon), 302 (murder) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC from seven individuals — Lawrence, his brother vipin, cousins Akash, Jagatpal, Ranveer, Chaman Singh and a different individual.
Rajesh Kumar Singh, DCP (zone 3) stated they have arrested three men. “Among the accused, two are engaged in criminal actions. Arrests could be made shortly”
