Talking about the thought behind the initiative, S Chandrashekhar, convener of this group, states,”The thought came to us through the lockdown. We realised that many people, in addition to people to Karnataka are unaware of the importance of particular locations. For example, how many men and women understand the area in Bengaluru the late author Maasthi Venkatesha Iyengar dwelt in or the place where the very first poll of india was completed with Trigonometry?
