Father, killers detained for youth’s murder | Mysuru News


Hassan: Police nabbed a guy in Channarayapatna, who supposedly obtained his kid murdered by committing supari to four men. Police also detained the man’s younger son and others who implemented the murder plan.
Hemanth, 48,’d awarded supari to four guys — Kantharaju, 52, Sunil, 27, Nandeesh, 28, and Nagaraj, respectively 65 — to murder his unborn son Puneeth, that had been residing with his mother at a different village. Puneeth had returned Bengaluru after hammering his driving job, because of Covid crisis. He’d requested cash from his dad to fulfill his daily wants. This along with other old problems caused the murder, police said. Hemanth’s younger son Parashant, 23, affirmed the supari killers to whom Rs two lakh was provided and Rs 5,000 was awarded beforehand.
About September 13 authorities nabbed Hemanth and Prashanth who had been accountable for the murder together with Kantharaju who’d made the strategy. Following interrogation, they confessed to the offense and gave details concerning another accused.
The authorities team functioned under advice of SP R Srinivas Gowda and ASP BN Nandini.
