Hassan: The district Monday reported yet another Covid-19 passing on Friday while 13 more men tested positive for the virus, carrying the active instances to 193.
The deceased, third successive Covid fatality since July 1, was recognized as a 75-year old girl in Sakleshpur taluk. The girl needed complaints of pneumonia, blood pressure, and severe acute respiratory disease, said district physician Dr Krishnamurty.
Following a cop connected to this District Armed Reserve tested positive for Covid-19, the office will stay closed to people until Saturday day and sanitisation of assumptions were completed on Friday.
The contaminated guard on Wednesday finished his weekly turn in the SP office. His swab samples were collected on June 1. He remains his or her 22 principal connections, including eight household members are traced.
“Shortly after the protector’s test report was outside on Friday about 6. 30am, sanitisation of SP office started. Even though general public is denied access until Saturday afternoon, the management area functions around the clock. The workplace hasn’t yet been sealed ,” said assistant superintendent of police BN Nandini.
