Approximately three to four caged luvbirds are observed on level four of the newly failed building in south Mumbai.
MUMBAI: Four times because the tragic construction collapse in south Mumbai, animal activists have advocated that the civic government to save three to four caged lovebirds that are still trapped in the collapse website.
“We may see the caged lovebirds on the fourth floor of this Bhanushali construction which had dropped last Thursday. But since the stairs is inaccessible today, we’ve advocated the municipal government to aid in rescuing those critters,” said animal activist Chintan Adani.
He added that although many animal fans have approached the civic body and the Mumbai fire brigade with this problem, they’ve been told it is hard to rescue the caged birds because that section of the building remains shaky and hence insecure.
“Former Union minister and veteran monster activist, Maneka Gandhi, has also spoken to the civic officers in this aspect. But, things aren’t going ground zero,” said the other town activist.
A civic officer from south Mumbai explained that just fire brigade could guage regarding the way to approach the collapsed building today, because the partly standing structure is extremely unstable.
Ten persons had expired since last Thursday, when this older, pre-independence age building had dropped.
