MUMBAI: A 17-year-old professional faculty student ended his life by hanging out of the ceiling in his Kalina house in Santacruz (East) on August 14. The episode was detected when the neighbors through the window detected the teenager recovered himself from the ceiling.
Vakola authorities probing the issue found no suicide note and also the specific reason behind the adolescent taking the extreme measure is unknown. Police suspect the teenager got sad because his dad scolded him for playing matches in his Notebook and mobile.
The teenager was lonely in the home when he took the radical measure around 12. 30after his dad left home to his office at a bank at about 12 noon on August 14 while his mum has gone to her office in the morning. “The neighbors on discovering the dead dangling hurried to the home and hurried him Guru Nanak Hospital at which he had been announced dead on arrival,” stated a Vakola police officer.
The deceased’s father told the cops he doesn’t complaint against anyone. In his announcement, the dad said,”My son had been playing matches on his Notebook and mobile for the past the 15 days. He’d become introvert for the past couple of days. Though we didn’t locate him but we didn’t realise that he’ll take such an extreme measure.”
An instance of unintentional death report (ADR) was enrolled.
