Back in Navi Mumbai and Palghar, beaches, waterfalls off-limits | Navi Mumbai News

NAVI MUMBAI: Monsoon revellers are advised to steer clear of beaches, waterfalls and dams from Navi Mumbai and also Palghar to curtail coronavirus spread. The arrangement also comes following five youths drowned in Kal Mandavi waterfalls in Jawhar on July 2.
The ban on seeing tourists spots at Palghar district is enforced until August 9. Even monsoon treks to temples won’t be permitted, said district collector Kailash Shinde. Back in Navi Mumbai, entrance to Pandavkada waterfall websites, along Parsik mountain between Belapur and Taloja abutting Kharghar node, is illegal through rains after four individuals were washed off last year. Police set warning boards up and tightened security to the entrance points. Violators will be reserved under IPC Section 144.
