Mangaluru: The assumptions of Boloor crematorium, that includes an electric furnace to your cremation of Covid-19 sufferers is in a pitiful condition.
Clothes, blossoms and blood stained cotton have been strewn across the bin stored within the crematorium. A local resident expressed his shock at the assumptions being poorly maintained in the middle of a raging pandemic.

Activist Franklin Monteiro, president of Rashtriyavadi Christara Vedike, told TOI that he had been shocked to observe the dust bin within the crematorium full of clothing utilized on bodies (not Covid-19 sufferers ), flowers and other things.
“I knew from those working within the crematorium the assumptions aren’t washed frequently. They haven’t cleaned the assumptions for the last one week. Authorities worried should consider the problem seriously because the crematorium is situated in a densely populated region and there are numerous businesses too,” Monteiro said.
“There isn’t any activity despite repeated requests,” them” he rued.
When contacted MCC surroundings engineer Madhu S Manohar stated they’d cleared the waste dropped indoors. “Our employees are collecting waste out of the crematorium once every week. Presently, Covid-19 victims also are being attracted to the crematorium. Thus, the waste from additional lifeless bodies had been left lying there,” he added.
