Protective shroud on Covid sufferer’s body started in Khader’s existence | Mangaluru News

Mangaluru: In breach of conventional protocol, the protective cap of some Covid-19 sufferer’s body has been started in the presence of prior health minister U T Khader, former MLC Ivan D’Souza along with other Congress leaders in the crematorium at Boloor on Friday.
Even though the episode is contrary to the typical routine of the authorities, Khader said Congress leaders haven’t touched on the victim’s entire body. A movie clip of people in PPE kits opening the face cover of those Covid-19 sufferers’ body has been shared on a Facebook webpage, Khader Nade Abhivriddhi Kade, also it has gone viral.
“I combined with Ivan D’Souza and Congress employees attended the funeral of this girl. People who had been in PPE kits started the protective cover and revealed it to people. We haven’t opened it. In reality, we’ve only paid our last respects to the dead person, throughout the last rites, by a safe distance. There’s a demand for change from the protocol. The face of Covid-19 sufferers must be coated with plastic sheets, and so that family members will pay their final respect to the dead person. At the moment, most household members refuse to come near lifeless bodies of Covid victims,” Khader said.
Mangaluru assistant commissioner C Madan Mohan reported there is not any provision to open the plastic body bag where Covid-19 sufferers’ bodies are packaged. “We shall look into the subject,” he added.
