Karnataka: TCS gets nod to establish ITeS at Dakshina Kannada | Mangaluru News


MANGALURU: At a boost for economic action in undivided Dakshina Kannada amidst the corononavirus pandemic, the Karnataka authorities in its State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) has eliminated four projects totaled Rs 556. 38 crore, offering employment to 4,209 people.
One of the big-ticket investment is from TCS, the Indian multinational information technology consulting and service firm, which will put up its ITeS providers in Karnad Village providing employment to small more than 4,000.
TCS will come up in 38. 29 acres of property in Chitrapu, Belayur, Karnad Villages. The lone project that’s been cleared in Udupi is that a food park from M/s Udupi Food Park that will be found in Mudaru Village, Karkala Taluk. The projected investment is Rs 26. 78 crore and will create employment for 14 men )
M/s Finpower Aircon Systems Pvt.Ltd will install its ac machines unit in Ganjimutt Industrial region. The expense is Rs 17. 35 crore and has the power to create employment to 120 persons.
Uday Shenoy, HR Manager of the company told TOI that the job would begin only once they get the needed quantity of property approved.
“As of today they’ve defeated three acres of property, but we really need five yards to get the unit ready to go,” explained Shenoy.
The Company currently has its own unit within an acre of property at Baikampady Industrial area and also the Ganjimutt job is targeted at expanding company. The company produces commercial air conditioners.
The Strong Blocks and Hollow Blocks component of M/s Redstone Trading Corporation will come up in 8. 83 acres of property in Kairangala village, Bantwal taluk, using an investment of Rs 17. 25 crore. It’ll create employment for 68 persons.
Mohammed Fayaz, spouse of this trading corporation said besides strong and hollow cubes, the device would also manufacture cement pipes, electrical poles and other value-added cement solutions.
“The device will come up over a year following the property is handed to people,” he explained.
John Richard D’Silva, spouse, M/s Udupi Food Park, stated the food park is going to be put up in 18 acres of property which has been bought. The meals park provides space for food and entrepreneurs businesses on lease, leasing or outright purchase.
D’Silva, that anticipates the park to begin in a second seven weeks, will put his three cashew processing and allied units in that Food Park.
The meals park will come up in Mudaru Village, Karkala Taluk, Udupi District at a price of Rs 26. 78 crore.
The job creation is pegged at 14 individuals, but DSilva reported the employment potential will probably go up based upon the components which will set up shop there.
