Karnataka CM asks districts to test coronavirus death speed | Mangaluru News


BENGALURU: With four districts — Bengaluru Urban (43,656), Mysuru (6,816), Ballari (4,466) and also Belagavi (3,936) — bookkeeping for 57percent of over one lakh active cases at Thursday, CM BS Yediyurappa requested district administrations to bring down the death rate by ramping up forecasting and analyzing.
Karnataka reported 9,217 instances and 129 deaths on Thursday, taking the toll to 6,937. “Infections are rising day by day in Bengaluru and also a couple of districts. Our priority must be to give treatment and save lives,” he told district officials through a video conference.
