Mangaluru: Abhijna Rao, who topped the country from the science flow by scoring 596 outside 600, states that she ready for this afternoon when she stood next in the SSLC examination in 2018. “From the SSLC examination, I overlooked coming by a single mark. From this day I made a business decision that I will stand in PU, and now, the hard work has paid off, despite having scored four marks less than the complete,” says an elated Abhijna Rao.
Abhijna, a pupil of Vidyodaya PU College, Udupi, scored 100 from 100 in mathematics, math, chemistry, Sanskrit, and computer science, also scored 96 in English.
On the way she attained her target, Abhijna states she analyzed without taking any anxiety. “Total immersion during course hours helped me a whole lot, and that I analyzed 4-5 hours daily, throughout the exam. The icing on the cake has been that the school environment, which can be located adjacent to Krishna Mutt,” she explained. Her proposal to pupils was to research just from textbooks rather than other materials. “Most of these questions come from textbooks,” she adds.
Abhijna would like to pursue computer science technology and also walk in the footsteps of her sister Raksha Rao, who’s a new grad from NITK, Surathkal. Her mum Asha Rao is a homemaker and dad Vittal Rao B passed away four decades back.
