Mangaluru: Weeks after obstructing entrance and departure of all everyday commuters, the government of Kerala has relaxed the rules. Currently, only bank personnel from Kasaragod is going to be permitted to travel every day and operate in Dakshina Kannada given they fulfill the conditions.
Meanwhile, people from Mangaluru might need to experience seven days of quarantine in Kasaragod before linking duty there. Kasaragod district government has also decided to present special KSRTC bus support exclusively for pupils from Kerala composing Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) scheduled on July 30 and 31. Students from several elements of Kasaragod is going to probably be dropped at Talapady.
Kasaragod district collector Dr D Sajith Babu stated that bank personnel ought to travel from Kasaragod into Mangaluru within their personal vehicles only. “Bank workers should submit their identification card and details of vehicles into Kasaragod district government via Covid-9 Jagratha portalsite. Meanwhile, bank workers from Karnataka will need to experience seven days of quarantine and an antigen test is going to be done on the fifth day. They’ll be permitted to work if the evaluation reports are unfavorable. They all need to submit affidavits saying they won’t be functioning in any part from the bank branches which immediately deals with the public,” the collector said.
On CET examination, he stated that students won’t be permitted to travel in private vehicles. “Students and their relatives must stay in quarantine for seven days following the CET examination and they’ll need to undergo a antigen test on the day,” he added.
