LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu and around 150 party activists were arrested while protesting against the increase in gas prices at the state capital on Thursday.
Condition Congress press convener Lalan Kumar Singh said they’d begun their protest against the party headquarters and moving to the Vidhan Sabha if they had been stopped.
Condition Congress chief Lallu told PTI on the telephone They were stopped near the GPO prior to being taken into the Eco Garden at Lucknow.”
