Nine killed, eight injured in four separate road accidents on UP expressways | Agra News

AGRA: Four backend street accidents on Yamuna expressway and Agra-Lucknow expressway claimed nine lives such as minors and wounded eight others.
As stated by expressway police, falling asleep on the steering wheel has been the significant cause behind each of the four road injuries.
The first accident happened at 3. 58am close 107 landmark of Yamunapar police restricts , Mathura district, following a speeding sedan hit a truck, killing three and injuring one on Yamuna expressway. Deceased victims were identified as Sumer Chandra (42), his spouse Jayshree Deep (40) of Shahjahanpur village of Saharanpur district, along with the automobile driver Amit Kumar (36) of Dadri, Yamunagar district Haryana. The wounded victim was Sanjeev Pal.
CO Sadar Ramesh Chandra Tiwari stated,”The four victims were going Yamunagar out of Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The driver of the vehicle fell asleep and lost control over the car, hitting rear of a truck. The effects of injury was that the whole car was turned to alloy of scrap using unconscious bodies”
Secondly mishap happened at 5. 30 am close 53. 700 kmstone of all Nasirpur authorities restricts , Firozabad district, following a speeding hatchback struck a parked truck, killing five and injuring one, on Agra-Lucknow expressway. Deceased sufferer were identified as Ravinesh Pandey, his wife Ruby Pandey, his four year-old son Lakshay Pandey, nephew Keshav Pandey (17) and niece Nandani Pandey. The only survivor sufferer’s sister-in-law Priyanka Pandey was declared in critical condition at Firozabad district hospital.
Iraj Raja, CO Sirasganj stated,”Prima facie it appears that sufferer Ravniesh fell asleep while driving and lost control of the automobile, as it moved from extreme right lane into left lane and struck into stand-still truck” The truck has been parked because Friday night. Following the collision, the truck driver tried to flee with automobile, but was arrested at Kanpur Dehat.
Deceased Ravinesh was senior sales executive at New Delhi and has been going with his family for his native village Muza of Praygaraj district.
Third injury happened at 6. 45am near km rock 34 of Fatehabad authorities limits of Agra district, following a speeding SUV struck a standstill pickup truck, killing the SUV driver. Deceased victim was known as Sudhir (45) of both Sevrajpur, Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.
Parvesh Kumar, SHO Fatehabad stated,”The sufferer fell asleep while driving and struck back of pickup truck that had endured double tyre burst and was barricaded with reflectors by expressway patrolling team” The sufferer was arriving out of Lucknow side.
The fourth mishap happened at 7 am close 94 kmstone of all Karhal authorities limits of Mainpuri district, leaving six hurt including a two-year-old child crucial.
Jagdish Singh, chief security officer of UPEIDA patrolling staff stated,”The car hit into divider before turning storm. The sufferers have been sent to hospital for first aid.”
